At Kennewick First Christian Church, we define "outreach" as the act of reaching out to our community. Jesus calls us to serve with our words, our works, and our wealth. Kennewick First Christian Church gives to local, regional, national and international outreach programs.
Local outreach is performed within the Tri-City community. Some of the programs we directly support through volunteerism and financial giving include:
Second Harvest
Second Harvest, founded in 1971, leads a network of more than 300 neighborhood food banks and meal centers throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Second Harvest provides more than 1 million pounds of donated food each month to help feed hungry people. The Kennewick First Christian Church supports this program through volunteerism, food donations and financial giving.

Union Gospel Mission

Education outreach supports our College Scholarship Fund, Youth Camp Scholarships and Youth Missions.
Regional outreach supports the Northwest Christian College, Yakima Indian Mission and Zephyr Conference Grounds.
World Outreach supports Tahoma Vista Adult Home, Basic Mission Finance and the Week of Compassion for the International Disciples of Christ.
